The Lowry Hotel, part of Rocco Forte Hotels, is pleased to announce the appointment of internationally acclaimed chef Ryan Murphy as new Executive Chef.

American-born Ryan bring a wealth of culinary experience to the Lowry Hotel and the River Restaurant, having worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants in the US, Sweden and Austria.

Ryan began his illustrious career in his hometown of New York where during his studies; he worked at the renowned three-Michelin starred Daniel restaurant. From there, Ryan went his way through the ranks and spent time working with Alain Ducasse at Essex House and Jean-Georges Vongerichten at the Trump Tower.
